Encina Grande

This project started out as a very full, very busy and very antiquated shopping center in a high-end area of Walnut Creek, in desperate need of upgrading.

Our scope was to demolish one end of the center to build a new Walgreens, then demolish the old Walgreens and Safeway structures to build a new Whole Foods and a new PetSmart. We also gave a major facelift to the rest of the center. This included new tower structures  and all new sidewalks with inlaid pavers.

All told, TPC managed eight phases of work for a complete site redevelopment — all while keeping the shopping center open for business.

Without question, this project was high on the level of difficulty scale. The end result was an amazing transformation of the shopping center and an owner (Regency Centers) absolutely elated with both the process and the finished product.
