The “Right Start” Approach
“Right Start” is our systematic approach to preconstruction that brings great value to your construction project! Being involved in the project early using our collaborative approach is essential to identifying and optimizing solutions for critical project elements. This approach creates a partnering relationship between all parties involved and sets up a healthy system of checks and balances that helps minimize cost overruns and maximize project predictability. Together, we build the project in our minds and on paper, then we execute in the field.
Tilton Pacific is a management company and we do not self-perform any work other than project supervision. We manage our projects with our in-house staff of 75 construction professionals. All projects will have executive oversight by the VP of Operations and will be staffed with a team of experienced “in-house” superintendents, project managers, project engineers and administrators depending on the project requirements. The superintendents are based on the project site to handle the “day to day” field operations, safety and quality control. The project manager is either located onsite or at our San Jose office. The project manager oversees subcontracts, schedules, billings, submittals and client-consultant weekly meetings. We use “MS Project Schedule” to create and update the master schedule and “Procore” software to manage project information and field administration. We also have a safety officer that routinely visits all projects and conducts safety training and audits. All field offices are set up as an extension of headquarters with high-speed internet and the latest information technology.
