Every year Tilton Pacific Construction in Rocklin does a Christmas charity donation drive in partnership with their many sub-contractors. This year, the company offered to raise funds to support the athletic programs at Pathways (formerly Adelante) High School. What started as a friendly competition between this generous group of business owners, turned into an incredible gesture for the students at Pathways. In total, over $22,000 was raised through the donations of 20+ businesses and individuals.
The athletic programs were launched into action when School Resource Officer Quirarte started working at the school about 18 months ago. Seeing the bridge between sports and academic achievement, he set-out to reinvigorate the programs.
Huge thanks go to all the donors and the team from Tilton Pacific, President Gregg Hall, VP Harvey Hwang, Chief Estimator Nam Le, and EHS Director Mike Hazen. Their donations will most certainly make a huge difference in the life of Roseville youth.
